Real SEO Comeback Ranking Tracker
The 7-day round is scored. Clicks rose from 6 to 10 while Google showed RealSEOLife for real seo 22 times, down from 139, and the homepage took every click.
The first scored round is in, and the card is split.
Clicks for the exact phrase real seo went from 6 to 10. Google showed RealSEOLife for that phrase 22 times, down from 139.
More people clicked. Far fewer people got the chance.
The homepage took all 10 clicks. The About page carried 104 of the opening impressions and was shown twice this round.
The Articles hub is the page this experiment is betting on. It was shown 5 times, earned no clicks, and met none of its registered targets.
The drop is bigger than one phrase. Across the whole site, impressions went from 1,450 to 547 between the same two windows.
Googlebot Has Not Read the New Article
Here is the part that changes how to read this round.
Through October 6, Googlebot had not requested the campaign article, the experiment, or this tracker. That is 13 days after publication.
All three pages are live, listed in the sitemap, and linked from the Articles hub. Googlebot fetched the hub on September 26 and October 5 and still did not request the article.
So this round cannot grade the new article. Google's search crawler has not read it yet.
That is its own finding. Publishing a page and linking it from a hub did not get it crawled in 13 days on this site.
Real SEO Round History
- September 14 to 20, the opening window: 139 impressions, 6 clicks, position 17.07
- September 18 to 24, the early signal: 114 impressions, 9 clicks, position 15.75
- September 24 to 30, the first scored round: 22 impressions, 10 clicks, position 21.55
The opening numbers were saved on September 23, before the campaign article was published. Every later round is compared with that fixed baseline.
Google has also been rotating which RealSEOLife URL it shows for this phrase. Live result checks changed by session and layout, so Search Console remains the campaign scorecard.
Evidence
The first graphic scores the 7-day round. The three below it preserve the opening comparison, URL rotation, SpyFu scouting context, and the early rolling-window signal. Search Console is the campaign scorecard. SpyFu helps identify the competitive roster, but its modeled estimates do not replace first-party clicks or positions. Server requests are kept separate from Search Console performance.
Methodology
The primary measurement source is the live Digital Karma Data Warehouse. Exact-match query rows are aggregated from gsc_query_daily. URL-level performance is aggregated from gsc_query_page_daily. Average position is weighted by impressions.
The opening comparison uses two consecutive seven-day windows ending on September 20, 2026. The early update used the rolling window from September 18 through September 24. It overlapped the baseline, so it was reported as movement and not scored.
The 7-day round uses September 24 through September 30, the first seven complete days after publication. It was scored on October 6 with Search Console data complete through October 3. September 28 had no recorded impression for the exact phrase.
Page-level rows can add up to more than the whole-phrase total. Google can show more than one RealSEOLife URL for a single search.
Server request evidence is read separately from Search Console. From September 23 through October 6, the logs show no Googlebot request for the campaign article, the experiment, or this tracker. Googlebot requested /articles on September 26 and October 5.
Two other Google fetchers did request the article: GoogleOther on September 24 and Google-Read-Aloud on September 27. The article had no Search Console page row through October 3. Requests show crawler access, not rankings or human demand.
SpyFu figures are preserved as third-party competitive context, not substituted for first-party clicks or positions. Live Google checks are treated as volatile observations because location, device layout, and session state changed which RealSEOLife URLs appeared.
Checkpoints are scheduled after 7, 14, and 28 complete post-publication days. The 14-day round covers September 24 through October 7. The 28-day round covers September 24 through October 21. Each checkpoint compares whole-query performance and page-level distribution so URL rotation is not mistaken for net growth.
The intervention ledger has two dates. The campaign article, experiment, and opening proof were published September 23. The What Is Real SEOβ’ definition was refreshed September 24 under the site's new content-quality rules. Later analysis must separate page-level movement and cannot assign the result to the first publication alone.
Outcome
7-day round scored. 14-day round next.
The whole phrase earned 10 clicks on 22 impressions, a 45.45% CTR at weighted position 21.55. The opening window earned 6 clicks on 139 impressions at position 17.07.
The Articles hub against its four registered targets:
1. At least 50 impressions: missed, with 5.
2. Weighted position 10 or better: missed, at 16.40.
3. CTR above 4% after 50 impressions: not reached.
4. More clicks than any other RealSEOLife page: missed, with 0 against the homepage's 10.
The site-level rule asks for whole-phrase improvement, not exposure moving between URLs. Clicks improved. Impressions and position did not.
Googlebot had not requested the new article through October 6. This round reports what happened, but it does not score the article or prove the campaign caused the movement.
