Experiment
Can an Articles Hub Win the Real SEO Query?
A 28-day test of whether one fresh article, added through the existing Articles hub and connected to a proof tracker, can make that hub the leading RealSEOLife page for the exact phrase real seo.
Publishing one focused Real SEOβ’ article through the existing Articles hub, with explicit links to this experiment and its proof tracker, will improve the hub's exact-query impressions and average position without manually rewriting the homepage or About page. The hub should earn at least 50 exact-query impressions in a complete seven-day window and reach at least two of the four registered win thresholds within 28 complete days.
What this test is watching.
This test watches whether one new article helps the Articles page appear more often for real seo. We saved how often the page appeared, how many people clicked it, and where Google placed it before publication. Those opening numbers let us see whether the new article helped.
How the test is structured.
The experiment begins September 23, 2026, using the latest complete Search Console window available in the Digital Karma Data Warehouse.
Opening whole-query baseline, September 14 through September 20:
- 139 impressions
- 6 clicks
- 4.32% CTR
- weighted average position 17.07
Previous seven days, September 7 through September 13:
- 166 impressions
- 0 clicks
- 0% CTR
- weighted average position 20.75
Opening page-level baseline for September 14 through September 20:
- /about: 104 impressions, 2 clicks, 1.92% CTR, position 14.79
- /articles: 12 impressions, 2 clicks, 16.67% CTR, position 30.83
- homepage: 5 impressions, 2 clicks, 40% CTR, position 22.00
- /glossary/real-seo-systems: 14 impressions, 0 clicks, position 17.14
Live spot checks showed page-one appearances for About, the homepage, and the Articles hub in different sessions. Those observations establish volatility, not rank.
The opening intervention is publication of the linked article, experiment, and proof tracker through the site's existing architecture. No homepage or About-page editorial copy or template is manually changed. Existing automatic latest-content modules may surface the new records, and that normal internal distribution is part of the recorded intervention. The Articles hub already carries its Kodi audio summary, so no new audio is added during the baseline intervention.
Intervention note, September 24: the existing What Is Real SEOβ’ definition was rewritten under the site's new global content-quality rules. The change replaced vague AI system language with direct AI visibility language, added current first-party search guidance, and connected the definition to this experiment. Later checkpoints must treat September 23 and September 24 as separate intervention dates. Movement cannot be attributed to the campaign article alone.
What has happened so far.
Open. The 7-day round is scored. The 14-day and 28-day rounds are still ahead.
7-day round, September 24 through September 30, scored October 6:
- whole phrase: 10 clicks on 22 impressions at 45.45% CTR, weighted position 21.55
- homepage: 10 clicks on 15 impressions at 66.67% CTR, weighted position 18.60
- Articles hub: 0 clicks on 5 impressions, weighted position 16.40
- About: 0 clicks on 2 impressions, weighted position 17.00
The Articles hub met none of the registered thresholds listed below. Whole-phrase clicks rose from 6 to 10 while impressions fell from 139 to 22.
Through October 6, Googlebot had not requested the new article, this experiment, or the proof tracker. It requested the Articles hub on September 26 and October 5.
This round cannot grade the article. Google's search crawler has not read it yet.
The opening checkpoint is preserved in the linked proof entry. The 14-day round covers September 24 through October 7.
Early signal recorded September 27 from warehouse data through September 24:
- latest rolling seven days: 114 impressions, 9 clicks, 7.89% CTR, and weighted position 15.75
- homepage: 15 impressions, 6 clicks, 40% CTR, and weighted position 9.93
- About: 88 impressions, 1 click, 1.14% CTR, and weighted position 14.11
- Articles hub: 9 impressions, 2 clicks, 22.22% CTR, and weighted position 33.56
The homepage movement began September 22, before the campaign publication. The Articles hub received one exact-query impression at position 9 on September 24, the only complete post-publication day currently available. The new article had no Search Console page row through that date. Googlebot requested the Articles hub on September 26, while no Googlebot request was recorded for the article, experiment, or proof page through September 27. This is movement worth tracking, not a scored checkpoint or a causal result.
Registered win thresholds for the Articles hub during a complete seven-day window:
1. At least 50 impressions for the exact phrase real seo. 2. Weighted average position of 10 or better. 3. CTR above 4% after at least 50 impressions. 4. More exact-query clicks than any other RealSEOLife page.
The Articles hub wins the opening round by reaching at least two thresholds. The broader site wins only if whole-query performance also improves instead of merely shifting existing exposure between URLs.
The September 24 definition-page refresh expanded the intervention from one new article into a dated content-cluster change. The thresholds remain fixed, but the final analysis must not credit one page without page-level evidence.
What would support or challenge it.
No conclusion yet.
This record exists before the result so the opening numbers, intervention, and thresholds cannot be rewritten around whatever happens next.
